Project 1 Personal Class Blog

     My name is Tierra Dinkins and I am a native of Mobile, AL. I am the oldest of five children. My mother has two more children besides me which are twin girls whom are now 17 years old. My father had three more children consisting of two girls and one boy. I grew up living with my mother having my dad always at least two states away. Since my dad was always out of state I traveled every summer to see him. I have been to almost every state in the United States from California to South Carolina and from Florida to New York. I have even been to Canada three times. Needless to say I have learned to love traveling. My other interest have always been reading for fun and watching T.V.
     I have been to a total of three colleges and have had two different major. My freshman year of college I decided I wanted to get out of Mobile for a while so I attended UAB with a major in finance. Although I did fairly well in my classes I felt like UAB was too big of an university for me. I then transferred to Spring Hill College for my sophomore year majoring in Secondary Education with a minor in History. Spring Hill was another very good school but unfortunately it was too expensive for my budget. I then decided to go with my next  and final school USA. I am continuing my major in education and hope to become a great, non-boring typical history teachers who just teaches the facts.
